MTVixen : Welcome to the MTV Arena this event with the band, Redd Kross. Redd Kross is the brainchild of the McDonald brothers, Jeff (vocals/guitar) and Steve (vocals/bass). Both of them are here to chat. Other members of the band include drummer Brian Reitzell and guitarist Eddie Kurdziel.

MTVixen : Allow me to tell you a little about Redd Kross, they have a long and colorful history; Redd Kross was "alternative" before the word even referred to music. Their career started in L.A. in 1979 when the youngest band member was 11 and the oldest was a ripe old age of 15. Spanning six albums, the sound of Redd Kross has changed constantly. "BORN INNOCENT" (1981) is a perfect punk statement. "THIRD EYE" and "PHASESHIFTER" are filled with enough bubblegum pop to make the current Brit scene look positively silly. "TEEN BABES FROM MONSANTO" (1984) and "NEUROTICA"(1987) run the gamut from pre-spandex glam to just plain bizarre. I know, a lot to read :) Their latest effort, "SHOW WORLD" is Redd Kross's greatest album to date. Let's get to the audience's questions. Question : What movie did you most enjoy doing? And how was it to work with David Cassidy?
REDD KR0SS : The Exorcist II (The Heretic) was my personal favorite And I felt (Steve) the work I did on Olympic Fever was my most mature to date. And David Cassidy was a very generous actor. He would give you his autogrph any time you asked.
