[Birthplace]
Hawthorne, outside of Los Angeles. (Same as the Beach Boys.)

[McDonald Brothers]
Jeff, the older brother went to a Beatles concert when he was 3 years old and as he grew up, he got into all kind of music; the Partridge Family, Runaways, Kiss etc. His wife Charlotte is an ex member of the Go-Go's. They have a baby daughter.

Steven, the younger brother was a fan of Stooges and the New York Dolls when he was 7 or 8 and got into all kind of music like his brother Jeff. He is studying Japanese and can read just a little. He is single.

[The First Band]
13 year old Jeff on guitar and 9 years old Steven formed the Tourists.

[Redd Kross]
In 1979, they changed the name of the band to Red Cross. (Later they are accused by Red Cross and changed it to Redd Kross.) The other original members were Greg Hetson (Later in Circle Jerks and then in Bad Religion) and Ron Reyes (Later in Black Flag). They opened for Black Flag show at that time.

[Albums]
The first album was called Born Innocent (1981) - the very first grunge album in the world. They have released 5 albums now.

[Cover Album]
Teen Babes From Monsanto (1984). Tribute to Pin-Ups by David Bowie. They covered the songs of Stooges, Kiss, The Rolling Stones, Shangrilas etc. And their own masterpiece Linda Blair was self covered. When they were recording this album, Steven graduated junior high school.

Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth), Mark Arm (Mudhoney), Jo Elliott (Def Leppard), Stone Temple Pilots etc. There seem to be more, and there probably are more.
